The world's finest duvets, made from the best materials available.
Limited to 100 per year.
Æðey is a small island in the remote Icelandic westfjords, tended by the same family since the settlement of Iceland.
1000 years
in the making
Today, the seventh generation of eider down farmers continues the tradition — gathering rare down by hand from around four thousand eider duck nests, the largest such colony in the world.
Allowing us to produce one hundred duvets each year.

Lighter than air, warmer than anything else.
Eider down is the warmest insulating material in nature. It regulates body heat the way no synthetic material can.

Ethically & sustainably harvested. Government-certified. Æðey is listed on the IBA registry of Important Bird Areas in Europe.

We produce each duvet to order. Available in bespoke sizes by enquiry.
